I Just wanted to say well done to all the Guernsey Swimming Club swimmers who took part in the Island Championships, there was some outstanding swims which were not really reflected in the Guernsey Press.
Trophy winners were:
Matt Girard 50 & 100 Butterfly
Brendan Chapman 50 & 100 Breaststroke
Sophie De La Mare 100 butterfly and the Junior 100 IM
Charlie Jo Hallett 400 IM
Amy Ryan 400 IM
Ben Lowndes 200 IM

For out outstanding performance Samuel Lowe.
Sophie De La Mare finished the meet with highest amount of points 74 with Laura Le Cras finishing 2nd with 67 points for the ladies and Charlie Jo Hallett topped the males with 64 points, Jack Blondel coming 2nd with 62 point and Samuel Low 3rd with 60 points so out of the top 6 swimmer 5 were Guernsey Swimming Club Swimmers. Not forgetting all the other swimmers who took part great swimming and great team support.
