Bronze Medal for Samuel Lowe
Guernsey Swimming Club swimmer Samuel Lowe 11 travelled to Portsmouth Mountbatten Centre for the Hampshire County Distance Swimming Championships. Having gained qualifying times for all three disciplines Samuel competed in the 400Fc, 400IM and the 1500 long course.
Stepping up to the challenge of competing in a 50m pool against swimmers from all over the county Samuel excelled himself coming 3rd in the 400 Individual Medley 6:21.43, 7th in the 400 Freestyle 5:24.37 and 7th in the 1500.
Samuel returns this weekend to compete in the age group events with his fellow Guernsey Swimming Club swimmers at Havant and Waterlooville.
