The first two bay swim have taken place, this year Saffery Champness have kindly sponsored the swims so each competitor gets a nice silicone hat pre numbered which they get to keep as a memento.
Well done to all the swimmers taking part and also a big thank you to all the volunteers who kayaked, registered and recorded the swim.
Rousse to A’Mrreurs was the first swim which took place on Sunday 14 June 13 year old Sophie De La Mare was the first swimmer to finish closely followed by Callum and Kevin Penney. The second bay swim Pembroke to L’Ancresse was held on Sunday 21 June with Kevin Penney finishing first, Sophie De La Mare and Becky Simmons following closely behind. Hopefully this lovely weather will hold for the next bay swim Portlet Fort Grey this Sunday check in 15.30, if any one can Kayak please just turn up on the day.
