For 140 years, Guernsey Swimming Club has been at the heart of swimming in the island, helping generations of swimmers develop their skills, build lifelong friendships and create unforgettable memories. Now it’s time to celebrate that incredible milestone together.
Join us on Sunday 23rd August 2026 for a relaxed afternoon of celebration at the La Vallette Bathing Pools Café, where past and present members, families, volunteers and supporters are all invited to come together and mark this historic occasion.
The event runs from 3:00pm to 8:00pm and includes a delicious BBQ, the opportunity to catch up with old friends, and a special display of the Club’s historic trophies and anniversary books, showcasing 140 years of Guernsey Swimming Club’s proud history.
Whether you swam with the Club years ago, currently volunteer, have children swimming today, or simply want to celebrate this remarkable milestone, we’d love to see you there.
