Brothers Charlie-Joe and Ronny Hallett took part in their first UK level 2 short course meet since 2019 this weekend. Both had a great weekend and a promising start to the short course season.
Ronny’s best swim of the weekend was his 100m Backstroke where he knocked an amazing 7.5 seconds off his time. He swam lifetime best times in the 50, 100 and 200 breast to finish 6th in all three events for the open men’s class knocking 4 seconds off his 200m time and qualifying for winter nationals for all 3 events. He also swam the 50 fly and 50 back equalling his best times.
Charlie-Joe made an impression on his first Plymouth meet taking gold in both 50m and 200m breaststroke. He also picked up a bronze in the 200IM and 100 breaststroke where he swam a 1:02.05. He also swam a life time best in the 100m free in a time of 52.47.
A great start for both boys for the winter short course season.
