Our junior swimmers recently took part in the Penguin Gala at Beau Sejour, and it was a fantastic event for swimmers across our junior programme. From those swimming 25m races for the very first time to swimmers just starting out on their competitive pathway, including members of our first competitive squad, the Marlins, everyone rose to the occasion.

Swimmers competed in a variety of 25m and 50m races, producing some great times and gaining valuable race experience. It was especially encouraging to see such a strong turnout and so much enthusiasm on poolside.

A huge thank you goes to our volunteers whose support and hard work ensured the gala ran smoothly. Well done to all swimmers who took part — a great day of junior swimming for the Guernsey Swimming Club!
