64 swimmers from Guernsey Swimming Club took part in the GASA 100m Championships on Saturday 11 October 2025, putting in some fantastic performances across 217 swims.
The team came away with an impressive 12 gold, 17 silver, and 20 bronze medals, a great reflection of the hard work and dedication shown by swimmers and coaches alike.
There were also three new records set at the meet, all from GSC swimmers:
- Emma broke the Female 16 & Over 100m Individual Medley record with a time of 1:07.24, beating a time that had stood since 2014.
- Lily set a new Female 10–11 100m Breaststroke record with a time of 1:30.48, also breaking a 2014 record.
- Sam C set a new Male 14–15 100m Breaststroke record with 1:10.37, taking down the previous best from 2020.
It was a brilliant day of racing and team spirit, with plenty of personal bests and strong swims throughout the squads.
