The Polar Bear Swim organised by the Guernsey Swimming Club is a yearly tradition dating back over 50 years and will be taking place on Christmas Day.
Directors Jo Norman and Chris Butt, who is also the Club President, will be at La Vallette from 9.30-11am on Christmas morning signing certificates for those brave enough to take a dip.
This is a great local event aimed at all ages and abilities. It provides a fantastic family friendly festive atmosphere down at the historic pools where the club first started in 1886. The event is completely free of charge.
The cafe at the La Vallette will also be open providing hot drinks and a warm fire.
