Session 1 of the Masters Nationals Championships and our Mike Banfield was the only competitor in the 85-89yrs age group, but took down the British record with a 32:49.92 effort in the 1500m Freestyle.
Banfield took down Edward Hoy’s old record of 33:24.43 from four years ago.
