Swim Clinics with Adam Peaty

We are delighted that Olympic Gold Medalist Adam Peaty will be visiting the Guernsey Swimming Club over the weekend of the 29/30th April.

Adam will be holding two swim clinics on Saturday 29th April which will be held at St Sampsons High School

Clinic 1: Senior swimmers from Naomi’s, Haidee’s and Rob’s lanes are invited to attend a clinic from 9.30 – 11.30am.

Clinic 2: Swimmers in Annette’s, Adam’s, Shirley’s and Sally’s lanes are invited to attend a clinic from 12-1pm.

All Guernsey Swimming Club swimmers including the masters and adult sections are invited to sit on poolside and watch the clinics where they will be able to pick up tips. Parents are also welcome to attend and sit on the balcony.

There will be a Q&A session as well as a photo/cap signing session from 1.15pm. This is estimated to be an hour long and is also at St Sampson’s High.

The fundraising from the 130 swim has helped us to bring  Adam over. We still have some Limited Edition 130th anniversary swimming caps which are available to purchase from the club office for £6 for Adam to sign as a memento.

Swimmers, please advise if you would like to attend the swim clinic by Sunday 23rd April. By emailing the office swimming@cwgsy.net. We will also need to know numbers for the Q&A session. All swimmers and parents are invited to attend this.

As this is a high profile event we ask that all swimmers wear club kit. If you do not have the new kit then the older GSC shirts may be worn. A green Guernsey Swimming Club cap or 130th Anniversary cap must be worn by all swimmers attending the clinic who normally wear a swimming cap.
